ABOUT US

The company has been a part of the business community in Northwest Arkansas since the early 1950's. It was founded to meet the needs of the construction industry emerging at that time. Early in Northwest Arkansas Sheet Metal's development, quality and good business practices were married to the high personal values permeating the "bible belt" mentality of the SOUTH-CENTRAL United States.

In the years that followed, global corporations were founded and began to prosper in Northwest Arkansas. Wal-Mart, Jones Truck lines, Tyson and several other multinationals became the economic engines driving the area. Their prosperity fueled the growth of a construction industry that provided commercial buildings, schools, hospitals, arenas and other public facilities throughout the area.

Northwest Arkansas Sheet Metal (NWASM) was a key support player in that growth. NWASM pioneered several innovations in sheet metal applications. Specifically, spiral, flat oval and double wall ductwork were new innovations or product enhancements provided by the company. NWASM also installed and still maintains CAD capabilities unique to their role in the construction cycle. These products and innovations were developed using the core values and integrity the company was founded on, resulting in NWASM being a major partner in most large building projects in the area.

Throughout its history the company has been innovative and responsive to the needs of the industry. In addition to ductwork, the company provided roofing products and welding services. CAD systems have been maintained and provide a competitive advantage in many projects.

Current ownership and management remain committed to the founding values, and being a good partner to customers, vendors and employees.
